I know our readers might be interested in last taraweeh 2009. Below are the videos. I will comment later.
The last video is the Dua of Khatm of Quran by Imam Sudais. I am having problems posting it currently. If you do not see it now, I should be able to post it later today insha allah.
I am tired now, and need some sleep as I have been up the whole night praying with exception of small breaks and a little sleep of 15 minutes so that I could get the benefits of Tahajjud.
Please pray for me! Pray a lot. Please for good for good things for me, and for good things I am wishing in my heart.
Happy Eid. Pls. leave comments, and consider a donation. I think we have added a donation buttton in the post containing the live stream. I will add a donation link on right side later today.
Makkah Taraweeh Night 29
1st 10 Rakaats by Sheikh Abdullah Al-Jehny (1st Half of Juz Amma)
Taraweeh Makkah Haram Day 28 - Salat Prayers and Duas from Haram Makki- Ramadan 2009- Ramadan 1430
Taraweeh Makkah Haram Day 28- Salat Prayers and Duas from Haram Makki- Ramadan 2009- Ramadan 1430.
A personal reason why we thought to divide the video rather than uploading them as one whole video was that we wanted to pray at home when we could not go to the mosque (due for instance to distance and possible lack of car) and we wanted to "perform" the Taraweeh at home using the replay as replacement of imam readings. We do not know if this is an acceptable practice, so you are responsible for what you do with this videos. We recommend that you consult an imam on this matter. It is however our opinion, as non-islamic scholars, that these videos can be used as a last resort, for instance by Muslims in remote areas not living in daar al islam where they cannot find mosques nearby particularly at night.
Of course these videos are great to watch after your Taraweeh, and during anytime as they are performed by some of the great imams of our times.

Please note that this stream is live when prayers are being performed in Makkah. It is working around the clock. If it is not working it means there are currently no salats in Makkah, OR that they are in a silent rakaat--- in such case wait a bit to hear the takbir.

Day 25 Makkah Taraweeh 1430- Makkah videos- Ramadan 2009: Below are the Makkah Taraweeh videos for taraweeh Namaz salaat prayers for Ramadan 2009. It is for Day 25 of ramadan 2009. These videos of tarawih salat prayer makkah correspond to the hijri (hijra) year 1430 of makkah taraweeh. Therefore, when you read Taraweeh mekkah 2009, it is also meant Taraweeh Makkah 1430.
Please share the address of this site with others. Videos will be kept on this site for a long time incha allah. Therefore you may visit it at any time. Just bookmark the site address on your browser and/or write it down on your diary so that you do not lose it. More videos will be added inshallah with a focus on Quran, Islam and Ramadan.
A general note which applies to the Taraweeh video series from Makkah. We could have posted only one Video encompassing all prayers, but we thought of the idea of dividing the prayers into sets of two rakaats each so that one call follow them with possible breaks, and to complete the set with the duas that follow the prayers. This makes a total of 11 to 12 videos, since typically the number of rakaats are 20, and the prayers involve two rakaats, and then a last rakaat in which the prayers are said. Watch the last two videos of the first day to understand how Taraweeh and duas are performed if you are not familiar with the process.
In doing this work, we were lucky to find a person who already had a similar idea, and already made the videos, and posted them on you tube. May Allah bless him, and we wish to recognize his work here.
Our contribution is mainly to post the videos here, out of youtube where they may not be easy to locate, in addition to avoiding being in contact with non-Islamic videos as is typically the case when one visits youtube.
Posting the videos here might also make these videos appropriate to watch in a family setting, particularly in presence of kids and other family members. It also makes the experience more rewarding from a concentration point of view as one can watch or pray along the video, AND then move to the next video after each Tasleem.

It is however our opinion, as non scholars in islamic matters, that these videos can be used as a last resort, for instance by Muslims living in remote areas, and/or not living in daar al islam where they cannot find mosques nearby particularly at night.
Of course these videos are great to watch after your Taraweeh at your local mosque, and during anytime afterwards, as they are led by some of the great imams of our times.
